We resist rest in our society. We value productivity over joy. I rebuke this sentiment in its entirety. This piece tells the story that when we surrender into rest we find a motivation for our lives that is cultivated from within, not without. We show up with more sincerity when we are rested. More empathy when we've shown compassion for our own needs and desires. Rest is a basic human need. May you go to it when your soul is calling for it. Each piece is lovingly hand-built in my home studio. You will notice that every body has their own story to tell, with each lump, bump and curve representing the ever changing nature of our own human bodies.
